Rowenta Irons 14501165847 Editorial Review
The Rowenta Focus Excellence Stainless Steel Soleplate Steam Iron has received a notably mixed but generally positive reception from users, reflecting a blend of satisfaction and specific concerns regarding design and performance. Customers have praised its robust steam output and substantial weight, which provide excellent pressure for removing wrinkles efficiently. Many users have noted the iron's ability to deliver a strong cloud of steam, making it suitable for a wide range of fabrics—from delicate silk to sturdy linen—with accurate temperature settings that cater to various needs. The stainless steel soleplate, though textured rather than polished, still glides smoothly over garments according to user experiences. However, some have mentioned that the initial steam settings for low to medium usage produce similar amounts of steam, which may not fully leverage the iron’s capabilities for those wanting finer control. On the downside, there have been complaints regarding the positioning of the temperature selector wheel, which can easily be nudged out of place during ironing. This design flaw has frustrated several users, leading to unintended temperature changes. Furthermore, some clarity issues arose regarding the steam settings and the self-clean function, indicating that users felt the manual instructions were insufficient in explaining proper use. Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, many customers find the Rowenta Focus Excellence to outperform previous irons they've used, with a strong recommendation for its durability and effectiveness. Users anticipate it to last for years and are pleased with the investment. **
