Garmin 010-10908-00 Editorial Review
The Garmin Universal Friction Mount is a versatile solution for holding a Garmin satnav in place on the dashboard. Unlike suction cup mounts that adhere to the windscreen, this friction mount can be placed on any flat surface in the car. Customers have found that it sits securely on the dashboard and does not move, even during sharp turns or sudden braking. The mount is compatible with various Garmin models, including the Nuvi and Drive Assist series. It is also suitable for use with larger devices such as the 7-inch Garmin DriveSmart 76 Sat Nav. The mount is described as heavy and well-made, with a weighted base filled with small pieces of metal. The fiction rubber at the bottom provides good grip and keeps the satnav and mount in place. The slide mount is robust and reliable for everyday use. Customers appreciate the convenience of having their satnav visible without obstructing the windscreen and without leaving any marks. Overall, the Garmin Universal Friction Mount is praised for its effectiveness and secure hold.
