Soundcraft Notepad-8FX Editorial Review
The Soundcraft Notepad-8FX is a small-format analog mixing console with USB IO and Lexicon effects. It offers versatility, loads of gain, and great sound quality. The mic pre-amp works well and the effects are suitable for vocals. However, there are some drawbacks such as the phantom power always being on, no on/off switch, and limitations in monitoring output while recording. Overall, it is a good mixer for certain use cases and performs well in its intended functions.
