GEATaaT Clutches Editorial Review
The 780 Series Driver Clutch has been receiving a mixed reception from customers, with numerous users noting its effective performance in a variety of applications. Many reviews highlight the clutch's functionality, particularly when used as a replacement for original equipment parts, often at a Considerably lower cost. For instance, one user replaced a $599 original clutch with this model, praising it for performing “perfectly.” Several reviewers have found success using the clutch in different engines, including the 18 hp Honda and the Predator 670, with specific personal applications like a hustler golf cart conversion. Many users appreciate the robust performance but have expressed wishes for enhancements, such as heavier springs or adjustments to the engagement speed for better low RPM performance. However, not all experiences have been positive. A few customers encountered issues with compatibility, mentioning that the keyway did not fit their engines, leading to dissatisfaction in terms of installation. Others noted challenges in achieving low idle settings without the vehicle moving inadvertently, suggesting that the clutch may require adjustments for optimal operation. Overall, while the 780 Series Driver Clutch performs well across several applications and is celebrated for its cost-effectiveness, there are Considerations regarding compatibility and performance adjustments that potential buyers should weigh. **
