ILM Helmets MM966 Editorial Review
The Modular Motorcycle Helmet Model MM966 has received a mixed but generally positive reception among customers, who appreciate its affordability and functionality as a commuting helmet. Reviewers frequently highlight its comfortable fit and true-to-size measurements, although there are notable inConsistencies in sizing—some users recommend ordering a size down for a better fit. The helmet features a dual visor system, which includes a tinted visor that is particularly praised for its nighttime usability and excellent visibility. While the pricing has been described as fair and reasonable, some reviewers have raised concerns about certain aesthetic and practical aspects of the design. The helmet is noted to be heavier and noisier, especially at cruising speeds, leading to a somewhat uncomfortable riding experience in terms of noise. Ventilation is another aspect users feel needs improvement, as it can become stuffy during longer rides. The chin strap has been cited as an area needing enhancement, with several users finding it cumbersome due to excessive material. Furthermore, the lack of available replacement visors poses a limitation for users who may require a clear visor option in the future. Despite these few drawbacks, the helmet has garnered a positive view overall for its comfort, fit, and value. Many riders expressed satisfaction with their purchase and recommend it for casual use, albeit it is viewed by some as a disposable product due to the visor replacement situation. **
