Action & Adventure Editorial Review

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi is an action-packed movie based on the real-life events of the terrorist attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Although the film touches on some of the political aspects of what happened, it focuses more on the experience of being on the ground during the attack. The performances are great, especially from John Krasinski, who plays an exceptional "Everyman" hero. The movie asks interesting questions about the use of military contractors but doesn't dive too deeply into them. Overall, it's a heart-pounding account of the events that occurred, similar to Black Hawk Down, making it highly recommended if it's the type of movie you enjoy.
