The EXPXXFIL0020 20x25x5 Merv 10 Expandable Filter Media Replacement has garnered mixed reviews from users, particularly concerning its compatibility and usability with existing HVAC systems. Customers have reported significant issues related to the filter's fit and finish, specifically noting that the end caps are poorly trimmed, leading to difficulties in installation. Several users expressed disappointment upon finding that the filter did not fit correctly into their frames, rendering it unusable. Issues such as warped sides further complicate installation, with some reviewers emphasizing that the sides do not hold their shape, ultimately impacting overall performance and air flow. While the media itself seems to possess decent quality, these design flaws have overshadowed its potential effectiveness. Users have suggested that until improvements are made in manufacturing, particularly regarding the fit of the end caps and the flatness of the sides, they cannot recommend this product. Overall, the EXPXXFIL0020 fails to meet the expectations of a standard HVAC filter, leading to frustration and the necessity of returns for many customers. **
