With its fine 60WT thickness, it is optimized for intricate designs, ensuring smooth stitching and even tension. Whether you are working on detailed embroidery or standard sewing tasks, this prewound thread enables you to achieve professional-quality results quickly.

What type of sewing and embroidery machines are compatible with this bobbin thread?

This bobbin thread is compatible with most sewing and embroidery machines that accept size A or SA156 bobbins. Popular brands like Brother, Baby Lock, Janome, and others utilize this classification. The prewound format saves time by eliminating the need for winding bobbins manually, making it convenient for both beginners and experienced users alike.

How many bobbins are included in the package?

The package includes 25 prewound bobbins, offering a significant supply for various sewing and embroidery projects. This quantity ensures that you can work on multiple projects without frequently needing to replace your thread supply, making it an excellent choice for those who create regularly or operate their own embroidery business.

What are the benefits of using prewound bobbins?

Using prewound bobbins like the New brothread 25pcs offers several advantages. They eliminate the need for manual winding, reducing prep time for projects. The consistent tension and accuracy provided by prewound bobbins help achieve flawless stitching, especially important for intricate designs. Whether you're a hobbyist or professional, these benefits enhance the overall sewing experience.

Is the thread colorfast and suitable for various fabrics?

Yes, the black color of the New brothread bobbin thread is designed to be colorfast, meaning it won't fade or bleed through fabrics during washing or wearing. This makes it suitable for a wide range of textiles, from cotton to polyester. Whether creating garments, home decor, or quilts, this thread will maintain its color integrity across fabric types.

What is the yarn thickness and composition of this thread?

The New brothread bobbin thread features a 70D2 thickness, which corresponds to a 60WT (weight) rating. This fine thread is designed specifically for embroidery, providing fine detail and precision. The synthetic material used ensures strength and durability, making it suitable for both delicate stitching and robust sewing applications.

Can I use this thread for machine quilting?

While primarily designed for embroidery and sewing, the New brothread bobbin thread can indeed be used for machine quilting as long as the tension is properly adjusted. Its thin profile helps prevent bulky seams, allowing for smoother quilting. Users often find it ideal for lightweight quilts and detailed quilting patterns.

How do I ensure proper tension when using this bobbin thread?

To ensure proper tension when using the New brothread bobbin thread, start by checking your sewing machine's threading path and settings. The bobbin should be correctly inserted, and the upper spool tension may need adjustment for optimal results. Running a few test stitches on a scrap fabric can help you find the ideal balance for flawless stitching.

Can this thread be used with sergers?

While this bobbin thread is primarily designed for embroidery and general sewing machines, it can also be adapted for use in some sergers, depending on the machine's function and bobbin size compatibility. Be sure to consult your serger's manual to check compatibility and settings before using it for overlock or rolled hem stitches.
