What is included in the Factory Crafts Mountain Side Stripe Graphics Kit?

The Factory Crafts Mountain Side Stripe Graphics Kit includes high-quality vinyl decals specifically designed for the Toyota FJ Cruiser from 2007 to 2014. Each kit features pre-cut graphics that align perfectly with the contours of your vehicle, ensuring a seamless fit. Additionally, the matte black finish provides a sleek look while protecting your car's paint. This kit allows you to update the aesthetic of your FJ Cruiser, making it stand out on the road.

How do I install the vinyl decal wrap on my FJ Cruiser?

Installing the vinyl decal wrap is straightforward. First, clean the surface of your vehicle where the decals will be applied. Ensure it's devoid of dirt and grease, as this helps adhesion. Next, peel the backing off the decals and carefully position them onto the surface. Utilize a squeegee to smoothen out any bubbles or wrinkles for a professional finish. This method ensures your graphics look great and remain secure while driving.

Is the matte black finish durable for outdoor conditions?

Yes, the matte black finish of the factory crafts graphics kit is designed to withstand outdoor conditions. Constructed from high-quality vinyl, it offers UV protection to prevent fading and cracking due to sun exposure. Additionally, it is resistant to moisture and dirt, making it suitable for various weather conditions. This durability ensures that your FJ Cruiser maintains its vibrant appearance over time, regardless of your driving environment.

Can I remove the vinyl decals without damaging my car's paint?

Yes, the vinyl decals can be removed without damaging your car’s paint, provided they are taken off carefully. To do so, start at one corner and gently peel the decal away from the surface. If you encounter resistance, applying mild heat from a hairdryer can soften the adhesive, making it easier to remove. This feature allows you to change your vehicle's style or restore its original look whenever you want.

Will the graphics kit affect my vehicle's warranty?

Typically, installing aftermarket parts like the graphics kit should not affect your vehicle's warranty. However, it’s advisable to check with your dealership for specific clauses related to your warranty. The graphics are non-invasive and only cover the exterior surfaces, ensuring they do not interfere with any internal systems. This means you can personalize your FJ Cruiser while maintaining your warranty coverage.

Can I use the graphics kit if my FJ Cruiser has existing aftermarket modifications?

Absolutely! The Factory Crafts graphics kit is designed to be compatible with various aftermarket modifications. Whether you have upgraded your bumpers, added a roof rack, or installed other custom accessories, the graphics can be adapted to fit seamlessly. This allows you to enhance your FJ Cruiser’s style without compromising any modifications you've made.

How do the vinyl decals hold up against scratches and stains?

The vinyl decals are engineered to be scratch-resistant and easy to clean, making them ideal for outdoor activities or rugged terrain. The matte finish helps hide minor imperfections and stains, while a simple wipe with a microfiber cloth and gentle soap can restore their original look. This maintenance ease is useful for FJ Cruiser owners who frequently venture into off-road conditions.

Are the graphics available in different colors or designs?

Currently, the Factory Crafts Mountain Side Stripe Graphics Kit is exclusively available in a matte black finish, specifically designed to enhance the rugged look of the Toyota FJ Cruiser. Future releases might include additional color options or designs, so it’s beneficial to stay updated on products from Factory Crafts. The sleek matte black provides versatility, making it suitable for various personal styles.

Can I customize the vinyl decals to fit my preferences?

While the Factory Crafts graphics kit comes pre-designed for a specific fit, some customization options may be available directly from the manufacturer. If you're looking for personalized designs or sizes, consider contacting Factory Crafts directly to inquire about their custom offerings. Customization can add a more personal touch to your FJ Cruiser while maintaining the quality of the product.
