Plano Frost Cooler

The Plano Frost Cooler has garnered mixed reviews from customers, reflecting a blend of satisfaction and frustration that highlights both its strengths and limitations. This cooler is praised for its durable Construction and effective performance in keeping beverages cold, particularly during outdoor activities such as boating and picnics. Many users noted that it holds ice well, often exceeding a day of ice retention under moderate conditions, with some even achieving longer durations when using it properly. The cooler’s robust build quality, including reinforced hinges and a solid handle, has also been a highlight for buyers seeking a reliable cooler for various day trips. However, the manufacturer's claim of a 5-day ice retention period drew substantial skepticism. Several users reported that, under typical loading conditions, such as a bag of ice alongside beverages, the cooler does not perform as advertised. Many felt that the cooler does not keep ice for the promised duration, especially when compared to older, simpler coolers. The mixed reviews suggest that while it performs reliably for 1 to 3 days, depending on conditions, expectations should be kept realistic for users not needing extreme cooling capabilities. Customer feedback also pointed out some aspects that could use improvement, including handle design and clarity in marketing about the ice retention capabilities. Some were displeased to find that the product is manufactured in China, which contradicted their expectations of an American-made product from a USA-based company. In conclusion, the Plano Frost Cooler serves its purpose well for casual outdoor use with excellent durability, but potential buyers should be wary of ice retention claims and Consider their cooling needs realistically. **
