Charging Port Replacement for iPhone 12 USB Dock Connector Flex Cable Microphone Replacement for iPhone 12 Pro with Tools(6.1")

**** The replacement charging port for the iPhone 12 Pro has garnered a mixed reception among customers who have attempted repairs with this product. Many have expressed satisfaction with the functionality of the part once installed, noting that their phones were able to charge again effectively. One user specifically highlighted that their device was back up and running, contrasting their experience with a defective port from a previous purchase. However, the installation process has been a significant concern for several customers. Reports indicate that the initial challenge lies in removing the phone's screen, requiring specialized tools like a jig which may not be included in the kit. Furthermore, some users encountered issues with connectors that did not secure properly during reassembly, leading to frustrating rework. A recurring complaint is the quality of the tool kit included; many noted that essential tools were either missing or defective, including stripped screwdrivers and a weak suction cup, which hindered the repair process. Overall, while the cost of the replacement part might be appealing to DIY enthusiasts, the accompanying tools and installation challenges may deter less experienced users. Customers who are familiar with such repairs seem to have had a better experience, successfully getting their devices back in working order. **
