It is also thin, just a little thicker than a piece of paper but strong, making it suitable for use on clothes and bathing suits. However, it may not be the best choice for making facemasks as it is too wide and has minimal stretch. It can be sewn through with a machine, although users should use a stretch stitch. Customer Experience: Some customers have reported that the elastic is smaller than expected or that they should have bought a wider strip. One user also noted that the part of the elastic at the top and bottom of the spool was wrinkled, which made it difficult to use.
