Yuasa YUAM2620A 6N2-2A Battery

The Yuasa YUAM2620A 6N2-2A battery has received mixed reviews from customers, highlighting both its performance and a significant caveat regarding its usability. Many users praise the battery for its effectiveness and reliability once operational, particularly in applications such as vintage mopeds, where a dependable 6-volt power source is essential. Customers generally describe the battery as offering great value for the price, especially for those who are familiar with working with batteries and can handle the necessary preparations. However, a critical point of concern is that the battery arrives acid-free, necessitating users to acquire battery acid separately before the battery can be charged and used. This requirement has led to frustration among some customers, who found the process inconvenient and costly, as they often had to visit local shops to purchase acid, negating the initial cost savings of buying the battery online. Moreover, there have been reports of improper handling leading to battery damage, such as overcharging with acid, which serves as a reminder of the need for careful management when setting it up. Overall, while the Yuasa YUAM2620A battery is often listed as a great deal for those equipped to handle the additional steps for full activation, potential buyers should Consider the extra effort and expense of sourcing battery acid. **
