Vycom Sheets Editorial Review
The Celtec Expanded PVC Sheet offers a satin smooth finish and is 3mm thick, making it suitable for various crafting and DIY projects. It is similar to sintra and can be used for creating stronger broad shapes. However, it is not as easily moldable as worbla and requires a heatgun to shape it over a solid object. This product has been used successfully for creating cosplay props, custom RC vehicle bodies, and crafting projects like model buildings and terrain pieces. One notable drawback is that the sheet may lose its flatness over time if exposed to heat or if it conforms to a surface. It may not be the best option for creating larger tabletop surfaces, as it may deform under moderate weight. Additionally, the rough surface texture is not suitable for writing with liquid chalk markers. The customer reviews indicate a mixed experience with the product. Some customers have received sheets with deep scratches and broken corners, making them unusable for their intended applications. Others have found the material to be easy to work with, lightweight, and suitable for their crafts. It is worth noting that some customers attribute the damage to the shipping process rather than the product itself. Overall, the Celtec Expanded PVC Sheet provides versatility and ease of use for crafting and DIY projects. However, potential buyers should be cautious about the possibility of receiving damaged sheets during shipping.
