Nutritionist's Take
Fixodent Denture Adhesive Cream is primarily a product designed to improve the fit and efficiency of dentures rather than offering direct nutritional benefits. It contains ingredients aimed at enhancing adhesion to the gums, ensuring that dentures remain stable, which can be crucial for those dependent on them for eating and nutrition. However, some ingredients, such as zinc and other additives, could pose health concerns if consumed in large quantities over time. Nutritionists generally recommend monitoring these types of products, especially for individuals with specific dietary restrictions or health conditions, such as zinc-related issues. Overall, while Fixodent does not provide nutritional value, it plays a significant role in the oral health of denture users, potentially affecting their overall health positively by improving the ability to chew and consume a balanced diet.
