Joby Wavo Air 2.4Ghz Wireless Microphone System with Two Transmitters Designed Mounting System, Vlogging, Filmmaking, Interview, Smartphone, Camera

### Editorial Review of the JOBY Wavo Air Wireless Microphone System The JOBY Wavo Air 2.4GHz Wireless Microphone System offers a cost-effective solution for vlogging and filmmaking, garnering attention for its audio quality and affordability. Priced at around $29, this system has been recognized as an impressive value, particularly for those just starting in wireless audio. The sound quality is generally well-received, with users noting that it competes well with more expensive options. Many reviewers appreciated the ability to connect lavalier mics, enhancing the versatility and ease of use for interviews and dynamic recordings. However, there are notable issues that potential buyers should Consider. Users have reported connectivity problems, particularly with audio dropouts if obstructions are present between the receiver and transmitters. This can limit mobility during recordings, requiring careful positioning to maintain quality sound. Additionally, the design aspects have drawn criticism; the bright red color, while distinctive, has been labeled as "obnoxious" by some, making it difficult to discreetly clip onto clothing. The system's somewhat bulky transmitters also contribute to aesthetic concerns and practical usability. Another concern is the unique mounting system, which lacks compatibility with existing setups. While it features multiple mounting options, the inclusion of only single-use mounts limits convenience for users with dual transmitters. Moreover, the absence of a carrying case adds to the perception of a somewhat 'cheap' product despite its capabilities. Despite these drawbacks, the JOBY Wavo Air stands out as a viable starter microphone system. It is particularly suited for those working on a budget or for handling less critical recording situations. While there are factors that could be improved, such as portability and design, the foundational audio quality makes this system a compelling choice for beginners. ###
