LIQUI-MARK Colored Pencils 66120 Editorial Review
The Metallic Colored Pencils pack of 12 has garnered a variety of opinions from customers who appreciate the unique colors offered, particularly for adult coloring books. Reviewers frequently highlight the attractive range within the set, especially noting the presence of colors that were not readily available in their existing collections. Many users emphasize how easily the pencils lay down color, making them suitable for creating soft and muted shades. This makes them an appealing option for those looking to add subtle metallic accents to their artwork. However, there are several recurring drawbacks pointed out by users. Many customers express concerns over the durability of the pencils, with complaints about them breaking more easily than other brands and difficulties with sharpening. The metallic sheen provided by these pencils is described as low, leading some to suggest that those seeking bold metallic colors should look elsewhere. The specific colors, such as the red which some compare to a brick/brown hue, also receive criticism for not meeting expectations of vibrancy associated with metallics. While these pencils may not fulfill the desires of purists seeking a strong metallic experience, they do offer a nice addition for those who are content with a softer approach to metallic coloring. Overall, customers recommend these pencils more as a complement to a brighter collection rather than a standalone solution for those wanting striking metallic tones. **
