Is Speedball Speed Clean Screen safe to use?

For example, you can use this solution in art classrooms or home studios where safety is a priority.

How do I apply Speedball Speed Clean Screen?

To apply Speedball Speed Clean Screen, start by ensuring your screen is dry. Pour the solution onto the emulsion side of the screen, then use a scrub pad or brush to gently agitate the surface. Can Speedball Speed Clean Screen be used on all mesh types?

However, it is always recommended to test a small area first to ensure compatibility. Its versatile nature makes it suitable for both polyester and nylon meshes, providing consistent results in removing inks and emulsions. This feature is especially beneficial for screen printers that utilize different screen materials in their projects.

How long does it take to reclaim a screen using Speedball Speed Clean Screen?

The time it takes to reclaim a screen using Speedball Speed Clean Screen can vary depending on the thickness of the emulsion and the number of ink layers. Generally, once applied, allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before scrubbing. In total, the process can be completed within 10-15 minutes. This quick turnaround is advantageous for busy screen printing setups where multiple screens need frequent cleaning.
