PENN Reels Editorial Review
The Penn Liveliner spinning reel is a large reel that is suitable for those who like to cast long distances. However, several customers have complained about the build quality of this reel, citing problems such as a stiff feel right out of the box, no line clip on the spool, and a handle that locked up during use. One customer even reported that the reel completely failed to reel in after only six casts. Despite its flaws, there are some positive reviews from customers who have enjoyed using the reel, although it seems that the negative reviews outweigh the positive ones.
