Education & Reference Editorial Review
The Saxon Algebra 1/2, 3rd Edition seems to be a hit with customers who have purchased it. The book follows Saxon's well-known reiterative teaching method, which has proven to be effective in helping students grasp mathematical concepts. The review lessons add a new level of sophistication to arithmetic functions, making the learning process more engaging and enjoyable for the students. The book covers a wide range of topics, including algebraic equations and word problems. Customers also appreciate that the book works well with the corresponding DVD, enhancing the learning experience. While the content of the book seems to be well-received, there have been some concerns raised about buying used copies. One customer reported receiving a misprinted book that included all the answers, which made it useless for their purposes. Another customer noted that their used copy had a significant amount of water damage and a beat-up cover. These issues highlight the importance of being cautious when purchasing used books. Despite the issues with used copies, the Saxon Algebra 1/2, 3rd Edition receives high praise for its effectiveness in teaching algebra fundamentals and preparing students for further learning in advanced mathematics.
