The boots are firm and can be made very comfortable by using the right setting on the ICS dial and some lightweight gel insoles. However, they can get very hot after a few hours of use. The insole arch support may not fit well for a generic fit as it is quite tall and in the wrong place. The sole is quite thick, stiff and clunky, especially the heel which extends beyond where it should. The zipper seems fragile and can snag while the zipper pull tab is too small. The boots may not be suitable for first responders as they seem more like cheap fashion boots rather than boots for utility or professional use.
