Mega Brands Building Sets DMW28 Editorial Review
The Mega Bloks TMNT figure set featuring Rocksteady and the Foot Soldiers has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers, particularly those who grew up in the 80s as fans of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. Reviewers have praised the incredible detail put into the figures, highlighting the impressive articulation and the authenticity of their design, which closely resembles the characters from the beloved cartoon. Customers are particularly impressed with the well-crafted plastic accessories, such as Rocksteady's gun and bandolier, alongside rubber elements for added visual appeal. However, there's a cautionary note for parents Considering this set for children, as the small accessories may be prone to getting lost easily. Many adult fans have expressed that these collectibles tap into their nostalgia, making them not just toys, but valuable memorabilia from their childhood. Despite a few mentions of quality control issues regarding paint details, overall sentiments lean heavily towards admiration for the craftsmanship and nostalgia these figures evoke. The appeal of this set seems targeted primarily at adults and long-time fans of the franchise rather than new young audiences, ensuring a unique spot in the hearts of devoted TMNT collectors. ###
