What Stands Out
Powerful Formula
Citristrip's potent gel formula effectively removes paint and varnish, making it ideal for even the toughest stripping tasks while minimizing the need for multiple applications.
Citrus Scent
Unlike traditional strippers, Citristrip boasts a pleasant citrus scent, creating a more enjoyable working environment and reducing the harsh chemical smell often associated with paint stripping.
Ease of Use
Designed for user convenience, the thick gel adheres to vertical surfaces, ensuring maximum contact time while requiring minimal effort to apply, making it accessible for both DIYers and professionals.

Citristrip QCG73801T Paint and Varnish Stripping Gel, 1-Quart is formulated to effectively strip paint and varnish with its unique gel consistency, making application precise and straightforward, especially on old doors with multiple layers of paint. Users praise its performance, noting that it remains active for a long time and can work on various surfaces without an overpowering odor. However, it’s essential to follow precautions for indoor use, including adequate ventilation and the use of appropriate gloves, as the product still carries risks if mismanaged. Despite its limitations, many find it simplifies their restoration projects significantly, even with a longer waiting time for optimal results.
