Nutritionist's Take
Amazon Basics Disinfecting Wipes are primarily cleaning products and not nutritional items. They contain ingredients like isopropyl alcohol and quaternary ammonium compounds, which are effective for disinfecting surfaces but pose potential drawbacks such as skin irritation and respiratory issues when inhaled. Nutritionists would emphasize that these wipes are not meant for ingestion and should be kept away from food surfaces. While they play a crucial role in maintaining a hygienic environment, their chemical properties do not correlate with nutritional benefits. For those concerned about chemical exposure or sensitive to scents, the lemon scent may cause discomfort. Overall, while they are valuable for cleaning, these wipes should not be considered a health product or substitute for proper hand hygiene and food preparation safety.
Amazon Brand - Solimo Disinfectant Wipes 89-340FFLL623L Editorial Review
Amazon Basics Disinfecting Wipes, Lemon Scent, for Sanitizing, Cleaning & Deodorizing, 255 Count (3 Packs of 85) provide effective everyday cleaning power and are highly praised for their value. Users report these wipes easily tackle household germs on countertops and bathroom surfaces while delivering a refreshing lemon scent. With a thick texture that ensures they don’t tear during use, these wipes remain moist until the last one is pulled. They are a great, budget-friendly alternative to pricier brands like Clorox or Lysol. However, it is noted that if not used frequently, they may dry out, underscoring the importance of sealing the canister tightly after use.
