Fabtech U-Bolt Kits ‎FTS351UBK Editorial Review

The Fabtech FTS351UBK Rear U-Bolt Kit has received mixed reviews from users, highlighting several performance aspects and some notable issues with the components. Customers have noted that the U-bolts fit perfectly on certain Ford models, particularly the Ford Excursion, providing a reliable solution for those needing to replace rear axle hardware. However, there are significant concerns regarding quality control, as several users reported receiving only three U-bolts in their packages rather than the expected four. Another issue that stood out was the inclusion of incorrect nuts and washers, leaving some customers to resort to using old parts instead. This lack of completeness can lead to additional frustration for users who expect a comprehensive kit that meets their needs. Finally, an important point raised in forums stresses the proper installation of the U-bolts; it is essential to recheck the torque after the vehicle’s weight has been redistributed to account for the normal spring curvature. Failing to do so can result in under-torquing, which could compromise the integrity of the installation. In summary, while the Fabtech FTS351UBK Rear U-Bolt Kit performs well when it comes to fitment and design for specific models, some users face challenges related to the completeness and accuracy of the kit's contents. **
