Nutritionist's Take
General Finishes Orange Oil is primarily a wood finish and cleaner, rather than a food product, which is crucial to note for health assessments. While it is derived from natural orange peel oil, which may have beneficial properties such as antimicrobial effects, its application is not meant for consumption. Nutritionists advise caution as the product's labeling does not address nutritional benefits or safe consumption, making it unsuitable for dietary needs. Potential drawbacks include allergic reactions or skin sensitivities due to its concentrated nature. The quality of the ingredients appears high for woodworking purposes, but for health, it’s not recommended for food-grade applications. In conclusion, while the oil has certain beneficial properties for household uses, it is not a health food product and should be used strictly as directed for non-consumable tasks.
