Sports Editorial Review
This series follows Shannon, a 15-year-old girl who has been bullied all her life. After moving to a new school and a chance encounter with rugby player Johnny, the two begin a sweet and slow-burning romance. The book addresses heavy themes such as bullying and abuse but also includes moments of levity and humor. The print is small, so some readers may prefer the Kindle version. Overall, readers love the characters and their relationships, particularly that between Johnny and Shannon. However, some find the pacing slow, and others struggled with Irish slang. The book has received high praise from many, even inspiring frequent re-reads.
