Tama Hi-Hat STDC7 Editorial Review
The TAMA Sizzle Touch Drop Clutch STDC7 is a high-quality device that allows for adjustability and ease of use when it comes to the upper hi hat cymbal. The adjustable dropped height feature is a game changer for many customers. However, there are some issues with the clutch dropping the top hat during foot splashes, the actuator lever being too small and on an odd angle, and the need to readjust the mechanism when adjusting the high hat. The device seems well-built, and customers are generally pleased with its performance. That being said, at $70, some customers feel that there should be no issues of this sort.
