The Ultralast AA Rechargeable NiCd Batteries have garnered a mixed reception from users, showcasing a range of experiences across different applications. Positive feedback highlights that the batteries deliver reliable performance for specific low-energy uses and maintain charge effectively. Interesting enough, users noted that even after a year of use in outdoor settings, these batteries continued to function well, making them a cost-effective choice for less demanding applications. On the flip side, issues emerged concerning their charging capabilities; several users reported difficulties when using conventional chargers, with some experiencing overheating and inadequate recharging. This has led to frustration, particularly for customers who intended to use these batteries in higher-draw devices such as scanners or shavers, which may exceed the batteries' limitations. Overall, the Ultralast AA Rechargeable NiCd batteries seem to be a solid option for low-power needs, provided customers are aware of their limitations and have compatible charging devices. However, those seeking a versatile battery for a broader range of electronics may want to Consider alternatives with higher capacity. **
