KYB Shocks & Struts 339242 Editorial Review
The KYB 339242 Excel-G Gas Strut has garnered a largely positive reception among users, particularly for enhancing the performance and handling of their vehicles. Customers have found these struts to significantly restore their vehicles to factory performance levels, resulting in a much-improved driving experience. For instance, those who installed them in their Toyota Prius praised the boost in handling, describing their vehicles as feeling much more stable and less boat-like after the upgrade. Many users appreciate the decision to opt for KYB struts, noting that they are the original equipment manufacturer (OE) for Toyota, which adds a layer of reliability and trust. This makes them a competitive alternative to more expensive options from dealerships. A few users highlighted that the installation process is straightforward, contributing to the overall satisfaction with the product. However, there are some concerns regarding durability, as one customer reported that their struts began leaking after just a month of use. This highlights a potential quality control issue that could deter some Consumers. Additionally, a couple of reviews mentioned that the ride can be slightly bouncy, although most users felt that this was outweighed by the overall improvement in comfort and performance. Overall, the KYB Excel-G struts provide a practical and effective solution for those looking to enhance their vehicle's handling and ride quality, especially for older models needing a refreshing upgrade. ###
