MaxiAids Board Games Editorial Review
Large Table Top Chess Set for the Blind or Those with Low Vision is designed to help individuals with visual impairments enjoy the game of chess. This set includes chess pieces with tactile bumps to differentiate them, but some users have reported that the pieces and board are small and poorly made, making it challenging for those with low vision to use effectively. While it is a good beginner set, many users suggest that improvement in quality and size is necessary for better accessibility. The chess set also features two slide-open drawers for easy storage, combining functionality with its educational aim of enhancing cognitive skills through tactile play.
