IceCap Filters Editorial Review
The IceCap K1-50 Skimmer is a protein skimmer designed for saltwater tanks up to 54 gallons. It has a low footprint which makes it perfect for smaller sumps. While some customers have had trouble setting up the skimmer due to fluctuations in water levels and a cheap pump, most have found it to be a great value and effective at removing waste from their tanks. One customer suggests replacing the pump after a year of use to avoid any potential issues. The skimmer may be temperamental with water levels, but once adjusted correctly it produces great skimmate. Overall, the IceCap K1-50 Skimmer is a solid choice for those looking for an affordable and reliable protein skimmer for their smaller saltwater tanks.
