The gloves are ambidextrous with coated palms and offer good coverage around the sides of the hands and over the fingertips. These gloves may provide some protection from puncture wounds but gloves with needle puncture proofing are recommended for work that requires protection from puncture wounds. These gloves are not machine washable, but they are food grade. They are not heat resistant but are reasonably warm. The touchscreen feature works with a phone as long as the fingertips are fully in the finger channels.
